About the client:

Fishency develops and delivers advanced technology solutions for the continuous monitoring of fish groups across the entire value chain. By combining image analysis, IoT sensors, and Artificial Intelligence, the company enables the collection and analysis of real-time data related to fish health, welfare, and production. Annotation and Data Quality overview: 

Annotation work is a critical part of Fishency's value creation and forms the foundation for precise and robust machine learning models. The work is organised with a clear separation between ownership, quality assurance, and operational production to ensure high quality, scalability, and low risk.

Fishency owns the entire annotation process, methodology, and quality standards. Production is carried out by dedicated annotation resources in Vietnam via FWH, under close Norwegian leadership and oversight.

About the role:

The annotation resources in Vietnam perform operational annotation work based on defined guidelines and quality requirements. Resources are dedicated exclusively to Fishency and work solely within Fishency's annotation tools and processes. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform video and sequence annotation of fish and relevant objects
• Annotate very small objects (down to millimetre-level) with high precision
• Perform multi-class annotation in accordance with defined taxonomies
• Follow established workflows, instructions, and quality standards
• Report deviations, ambiguities, and improvement suggestions to the QC lead

Framework conditions:

• No requirement for domain expertise or programming skills
• Work is evaluated based on precision, consistency, and adherence to instructions
• Final quality approval is always performed by the Norwegian QC and annotation lead
